A fragrance carried by vivid, extravagant colours and an irrealistic story about uncompromising love: all consuming and bordering insanity. A heavy perfume, based on animalistic notes interrupted by the subtle and light smell of snow; so repulsive in smell, so attractive in colours, so irreal.
A scent with strong ’60s elements that responds to specific moments of voyeurism, sexual experimentation and youth. The beautiful smell of bathroom rituals and the innocence of youth experimental and sensual like qualities; there is something intense and cool in it!
A brief introduction to a stranger, an encounter that looks innocent enough leads to an unforgettable moment of joy and profound connection. Yet, it is a single bite, infused with refreshing mediterranean citrus notes of sweet oranges, refreshing ginger and cedrat that shatters the perfectly controlled, glassy translucent glaze. Marble and glass is getting old. A rejuvenated joie de vivre blooms in a Milanese spring, and it reaches it peaks in a forbidden love on a burning day, high in the hills midst cutaway shots of nodding grass and greedy bees clambering over flowers.
A calm yet confrontational scent; that traces your neck like a sharp cold blade with buchu sulfur, metallic bloody notes and cold aldehydes. There is a feeling that something is going to happen with burnt rubber, cold cedar notes creating a concrete effect, combined with birch tar, leather and bay oil. Dying out on a cold, damp cellar smell with cedar atlas, dark musk and moss.
A film carried by jazz music, I like this ambience. The flowers play a strong role (water lily). The film which starts gay and luminous and becomes very dark! The fragrance is based on dark woody notes with a lot of incense, which represents the jazz music for me. There is a short passage where you smell the light. The chamomile and red pepper give rhythm and moments to the accord.
It is the gay man that got me curious, troubled by ordinary grief and haunted by joy, a man apart and yet like any other; followed by numbness, routine, sorrow and perhaps another kind of awakening. It is a fragrance based on a variety of woody notes such as violet wood, cashmere wood, mahogany and cedarwood; that reflects the man who constructs or reconstructs a personality to bear the weight of loss and whom society will not permit to grieve.
The air is thick with the scent of white roses, that weave through your senses like a delicate white lace; unfolding like a page from a mystical manuscript, illuminated with vibrant colors and enigmatic symbols. The taste of ripe pomegranates lingers on your tongue, sweet yet tangibly bitter, a metaphor for the complexities of creative existence. With every heartbeat, you’re drawn into a dance of poetic visuals, a celebration of life and artistry.
The cinematography inspired me to render a scenery, landscape and feeling of a couple in a forest. A location where two people are restricted to love, yet fall in love. In the coldness; wind, damp wood, lake and forest leaves they find warmth. In the danger and darkness; the animal and bloody undertones they find comfort and light. This is a fragrance that is ultimately herbal, green, wet, dark, animal and woody, and twisted with a bouquet of wild flowers to represent the society they left, the new one they found and will soon leave again.
