Brass is made from solid brass which has been precision machined and then finished with two layers of durable satin lacquer. This finish will age slowly with time, moving from a radiant brass colour to a deeper more golden finish within a few years.
Buster + Punch
Buster + Punch started out in a garage in East London, building custom motorbikes.
”Our love for working with rare, solid metals has led us to transform everyday functional fittings into extraordinary home details. Our work is inspired by London’s fashion, music and sub-culture scenes where we collaborate with street artists, bike builders and fashion designers to inject attitude into our crafted products.”
Renowned London architect and industrial designer, Massimo Buster Minale, founded Buster + Punch in 2013. Following a career at Foster & Partners and Richard Rogers, Massimo decided to chase his passion.
“I was working as an architect by day and making custom motorbikes by night. In a garage in Shoreditch, East London, I taught myself how to transform stock vintage motorbikes into one-off customs. I made all the parts from scratch and started selling my motorbikes to London’s most notorious. Being an architect requests soon turned from motorbikes to home fittings and I set about making everything from door handles to toilet roll holders. The seed was planted and my love child between architecture and motorbikes was born, his name – Buster + Punch.”
