Scents go into emotions and are stored better in memory than other senses. So, it’s not irrelevant what kind of message you pass on about yourself to others.
The two natural fragrances from Hetkinen are inspired by the clean forests and trees of the north. We use needles, leaves, bark, roots, and resin from the trees in various ways in the fragrance formula.
Both fragrances have our famous pine oil, which is used in other Hetkinen products as well. The fragrance consists of 100% natural oils, absolutes, fragrance components, and organic alcohol. The fragrances are unisex, and they adapt to their own personal scent on each skin/garment.
Forest Riot
A hypergenuine scent with a tone for the forest.
This scent is pure forest. The scent is fresh, very green, and energetic. The scent is full of life, the future, and the power of nature.

A supermellow scent with a mission for the wood.
This scent is like the best and most beautiful wood raw material. The scent is warm, golden brown, and earthy. The scent is full of aromas of the wood, resin, and a returning to the roots.

The summer day’s heat is ahead. While the evening is approaching, our senses become sharp, pleasures is what we long for.
The top notes create an lively cocktail: finnish white rose, bergamot, rose pepper, lavender and lemon refreshing accords. Vanilla and neroli with its powdery floral notes end the composition.

A breathable and sugary scent with a mission for the enthusiasm.
Amuse air is a scent that gives you consider something thoughtfully. It acts as your own muse.
The top notes create a sweet cocktail: tangerine, jasmine, cedarwood, lavender and lemon velvety accords. Patchouli and vanilla with its powdery floral notes end the composition.

Hetkinen is a Finnish word and means wait a minute in English. When the Finns are thinking something, they usually say Hetkinen.

Hetkinen was founded in 2018 by designer and former sales manager, Mona Isotupa. Mona defines herself as “a mother of two children, feminist, vegetarian, animal and nature lover,” as well as being an activist against deforestation. The company drives inspiration from the Finnish forests and trees. The design approach is careful and minimalist. Everything is made in harmony with the nature.
Hetkinen’s mission is to bring people closer to nature in their busy everyday lives via high-quality product innovations. All of Hetkinen’s products are gender-neutral, vegan, and manufactured in Finland at the company’s own factory.
Hetkinen uses Finnish pine heartwood for their jars and containers. It takes a pine tree 40 years to begin to produce heartwood, so it is used sparingly & respectfully, and as such, knots or stains in the wood are not discarded. Pine heartwood is used for it’s superior resistance to rot, antibacterial properties, and because it doesn’t absorb moisture.
