This vase was hand turned and carved out of a single piece of dark, rich walnut. The smooth glaze has been applied from beeswax and mineral oil, releasing the full bodied glow of the walnut juxtaposed with a smooth, satisfying coat. This vase is completely handcrafted from start to finish, and as a result, each one is completely unique.
Woodworking by hand is a long process, but the difference between a handcrafted and a mass-produced object is evident in the look and feel of this vase. The designer has carefully chosen her materials, taken care and attention to plan her design, and executed it perfectly.
A glass vial in included to allow for a single or a couple of fresh flowers.
Please note that each of these pieces are unique, that’s why all our measurements are approximate: dimensions, shapes and colors may vary slightly.
