An unusual bouquet of flavours make up this Bee Pollen and Mango Bar from Edinburgh based chocolatiers Ocelot. This bar is made from beans which were grown in the Eastern Congo, and hosts a taste combination of mango, pollen, cherry, and hints of dark tobacco. It contains 70% cacao solids and may be unsuitable for those with pollen allergies.
The stand-out bee patterning on the packaging has been designed by Ocelot themselves.
Ocelot are a homegrown company for us, born in our native Scotland, in our sister city of Edinburgh. Ocelot was created by married couple Matt and Ish, who ditched their career as chefs in favour of pursuing their dream of establishing their own confectionary business. Ocelot believe that chocolate is one of the most intricate and rich delicacies in the world, and deserved to be recognised as such.
