MEET THE ROASTER

Coffee Collective

Founded in 2007, The Coffee Collective is owned and run by Peter N. Dupont, Casper Engel Rasmussen and Klaus Thomsen. With several competition awards in the bag, including gold in both the World Barista Championship and World Cup Tasting championships, the company continue to explore exciting coffee experiences.

The Coffee Collective roastery is located in Godthåbsvej, Denmark. In addition to the roastery, they also run four speciality coffee shops, and employ a number of award-winning baristas. The Coffee Collective buy coffee beans directly from a number of farms across the world, and lightly roast the beans in order to preserve a natural flavour.

Every roasted batch undergoes a number of quality checks, logging of the roast profile and Agtron colour, yet the most significant quality check is the cupping. The Coffee Collective taste every single batch prior to distribution. The Coffee Collective are dedicated to remaining completely transparent, and so their roastery in Godthåbsvej is open to visitors on the first Friday of every month for guided tours and coffee tasting.
