Imaginary Authors was founded by Josh Meyer in Portland, Oregon, after he quite his job in real estate to pursue niche perfumery in 2012.

The fragrance house formulate wildly unique fragrances born from the concept of scent as art and art as provocation. Like a good book, these scents are designed to inspire.

Imaginary Authors' fragrances are composed using a harmonious blend of essential oils, absolutes, isolated molecules, safe synthetic molecules and resins. Free of parabens and phthalates, they abstain from animal testing and are entirely vegan. Designed to be worn by anyone and everyone, their fragrances are genderless.

Imaginary Authors passionately believes that creativity is the best tool we have to solve systemic problems in an industry, a community, and the world at large.
