FABER A5 NOTEBOOK

Italian designer Davide Longaretti lives in Osaka, Japan, and in cooperation with Japanese paper manufacturers and printers, produces extraordinary and beautiful notebooks under the name FABER.

The high quality paper selected by Longaretti is printed by machine with his designs and then processed by him personally in bookbinding.

PERFORATED PAGES

Great attention to detail can be seen in the craftsmanship of these notebooks. The pages are perforated longitudinally for easy separation, and there are two other circular perforations so no hole puncher required.

COPPER STRIP

The notebooks contains a copper strip with embossed FABER logo, which serves as a bookmark, or to join separated sheets.

ALUMINIUM-PAPER COVER

The material of the cover, which also comes from Teshio, is almost understated, but rather a diamond-shaped thread-reinforced composite material made of a wafer-thin aluminium layer on paper and another layer of enforcement paper. This layering makes the notebook extremely robust, wear-resistant and also visually particularly attractive.

STAPLE BOUND

The protective covering can be folded into an envelope and is also perforated so that a small viewing area can be removed from the front, if desired. The cover can thus be labelled individually.

The notebooks are bound by copper staples and protected by Japanese wax paper closed with embossed copper tape.

THE ABSTRACT TRUTH

Available in copper or black.

The inner part of the The Abstract Truth model consists of 64 unprinted pages made of high-white Takeo Fine Paper. The protective envelope is made of “Yupo WESA”, printed by a screen printing process six colours.

The colour is extremely thick on the paper and thus offers not only the beautiful look but also an impressive, haptic experience.

A WHITE PAGE

The inner part of the this model consists of 64 unprinted pages made of high-white Takeo Fine Paper. The protective envelope is made of brown wax paper from Teshio, printed with silver colour.

TIME IS THE MONSTER

The inner part of Time is The Monster consists of 64 pages of high-white Takeo Fine Paper.

Each page is printed with a trilingual (English, Italian, Japanese) calendar and a watch. This notebooks is designed for day-to-day time management.

The protective envelope is made of black “Takeo Muse Kirara” with silver speckles, printed with copper colour.
