Kousaido of Kyoto

Kousaido is a Kyoto-based incense house founded in 1994 on the premise of ‘colouring your life with incense’. Each incense range is meticulously crafted integrating modern perfumery techniques with traditional Japanese practices to reflect the rich heritage of Kyoto.

Kousaido use sandalwood as the base for their incense, into which they layer a wide range of ingredients and scents, resulting in blends that are soothing and evocative.
