Where Earth Meets Wood

A serene landscape where earth meets wood. Mugr is our first product in the HMM Coffee Series. Through 11 artisanal processes, Mugr is smooth to the touch and soft to the lips, easy to stack and easy to clean. Handcrafted by Taiwanese artisans, the body of the Mugr is made with quality Japanese ceramics and coated with our signature glaze to create the unique look and feel of cast iron, while the handle is made with fine walnut to form the easy to hold

shape.

HMM Project

HMM, short for Human Made Method, is a design studio based in Taipei, Taiwan, that creates timeless objects with a human touch. Dedicated to merging artisanal craftsmanship with modern functionality, HMM breathes life into everyday products, making them both practical and personal. Specialising in finely crafted coffee products and office accessories, their designs emphasise thoughtful detail, quality materials, and subtle functionality.

Founded in 2014, HMM grew from a passion for reimagining daily objects. The studio focuses on enhancing the interaction between people and the tools they use, balancing aesthetics with methodical precision. Every product, from their iconic HMM Scissors (a unique 2-in-1 tool with a magnetic base) to the elegant W Glass made from recycled materials, exemplifies their commitment to sustainability, craftsmanship, and design that inspires.
