Returns & Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, and we believe the products we supply are an investment for a happier life. You’ve trusted us with your hard earned money, now we want you to be able to use your new purchase with ease and confidence. If you decide that the product you purchased is no longer required, not the right item or you simply wish to return it you can do so. We will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them and are entitled to a refund as long as you inform us of your decision to cancel within 30 calendar days from the day after delivery of your order.

If you have received an incorrect item, or if your item was damaged on delivery, please contact us. We can arrange a Royal Mail collection of these items from your address, or we can issue a QR code that will allow you drop it off at a post office. Please note that it is your responsibility to inspect an item on arrival and prior to use, and products that are not “as new”, even those that are not the correct item, are no longer eligible for return.

Unwanted goods must be in an “as new” condition and returned in the original undamaged packaging, along with any accessories and free gifts received with them. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but you must not have used or installed them or input any data on them. Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them.

Please note that if you return your order in person, Godshot baristas are not able to assess, advise, or issue any refund. All returns are managed by and through mygodshot.com, who you can contact here. Returned items may be exchanged for a gift card or store credit on request. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have elapsed since your delivery, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. This applies to unwanted products. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, coffee beans, newspapers, or magazines cannot be returned. Personal care goods such as hand wash, lotions, or cosmetics cannot be returned. Fragrances may be returned if they remain sealed. Seals vary by brand, but may be plastic or paper wrapping, or a sticker that must be removed or cut before the bottle can be accessed.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

– Book with obvious signs of use;
– Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error;
– Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email within 14 days of your refund status. If a refund is approved, it will automatically be applied to your original payment method. Processing can take 3-5 working days, depending on payment method.

Please note that if you have benefited from our free shipping option, and your new order total following your return drops below the £100 threshold required for free shipping, a £3.99 shipping charge applies.

Late or Missing Refunds

It usually takes 3-5 working days for a refund to reach your account depending on payment method. If this has elapsed, please contact your bank or credit card company. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. This is beyond our control and the timing varies depending on your card issuer.

Sale Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items are not available for refund.

Exchanges

(If applicable)

Unwanted items, excluding those which are exempt from return, may be exchanged. Please contact us to arrange this. You will be responsible for dispatching the unwanted product to us, however, no shipping fee will apply for the second product we dispatch to you. Shipping fees will apply, however, for any subsequent exchanges in relation to the same product.

Gifts

If a purchaser has the item shipped directly to the recipient as a gift instead of to themselves, the recipient may return the item in exchange for a gift card to the value of the item. Once the returned item is received, an e-gift certificate will be emailed directly to the recipient. This method bypasses the original purchaser.

If the purchaser had the order shipped to themselves to gift later, a refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

Shipping Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping on the original order will be deducted from your refund, as well as the cost of shipping the return if this is arranged by us.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
