Planetary Design was born in the rugged wilderness of Western Montana, inspired by a 1992 backpacking trip and a simple desire: to enjoy a great cup of coffee in the great outdoors. Fueled by a passion for adventure and quality, the founders set out to create the ultimate travel French press, ensuring no adventurer would have to settle for instant coffee or, even worse, no coffee at all.

Rooted in Missoula, Montana, Planetary Design thrives on the ethos of “have fun and get ‘er done!” Surrounded by breathtaking mountains, rivers, and lakes, the team blends their love for nature with a dedication to craftsmanship, ensuring every product reflects the spirit of exploration.
