The first collection of stoneware ceramics is unique for its double layer of clay that enables different finishes on the inside and outside of the product.

The outer layer has a soft-sanded finish, preserving the original texture of the clay. The inside has an ivory white layer of glaze that perfectly protects the product.

Archive Studio

Archive Studio is a design studio based in the Netherlands with a focus on high quality durable products that are used on a daily base. Co-founders, Lynn Langeveld & Wouter Driessen, decided to build their own brand with their own products after working for multinational organisations in Sweden and Spain for 6 years, and so began from scratch in 2017.

Our products are meant to last a lifetime and a dish can be enjoyed more intensely if consumed from a beautiful plate.”

Archive Studio’s ceramics come from North Vietnam, where refined tableware has been produced for centuries. The products are handmade stoneware ceramics which are fired at a very high temperature. This makes them more durable than comparable products made from earthenware, for example. The products are shipped by container from Haiphong to Rotterdam, where they are then distributed to a number of small retail spaces around Europe.
