We all remember this one don’t we? Chardonnay grape and sea salt were on the lips of last years’ lot but this time around we’re getting juicier, bursting to the brim with notes of raspberry, stone fruit jam, with a touch of something herbal and a floral aftertaste… it’s good.
From the same producers, La Muralla, is this same pink bourbon lot – just a new year’s crop. La Muralla is an informal group of young producers from San Agustin in Huila, whose farms range from the 1700 – 1900 masl. Last year’s pink bourbon was a delight, and this year’s just goes to show how exceptional their lots are and their dedication to producing them.
Youth is a great thing to have on your side, and we can’t wait to see what coffees they produce when they have the wisdom of time on their shoulders too.
