The Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp was first released in 2011 and is the smaller version of the Type 75 Desk Lamp. Designed by Sir Kenneth Grange, the Anglepoise Type 75 Mini collection modernizes the classic Anglepoise design by introducing a sleeker and contemporary range of lights with neat, clean aesthetics.

The Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp has the Anglepoise spring mechanism which allows you to angle and fix the light in any position with the lightest touch. Being smaller, this compact light is versatile and can be used in many spaces, bringing a touch of classic British design to any home or work interior. Available in four colours, the Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp works particularly well in offices, bedrooms and living areas.

Sir Kenneth Grange

Design Director of Anglepoise since 2003, Sir Kenneth Grange began his illustrious career as a technical illustrator whilst in National Service. He subsequently made his reputation as an industrial product designer and in association with four partners founded Pentagram, now an international design practice with offices in USA, Germany and London.

In 1932, when vehicle suspension engineer George Carwardine invented a spring, crank and lever mechanism that could be positioned with the lightest of touch yet would maintain its position once released, a blueprint for the first Anglepoise task lamp was born.
