Founder, Nick Hoang, grew up in rural Vietnam, where he was enchanted by the scents that shaped his childhood - the lotus blossoms on quiet lakes, the fresh morning dew on rice paddies, and the sharp tang of lime leaves from his grandmother’s garden. These scents formed the foundation of his vision for d’Annam. As he traveled beyond Vietnam, he realised that while the world of fragrance was vast, it lacked the essence of his homeland, which sparked the creation of d’Annam’s first collection.

Chapter 1, d'Annam's debut collection, is a love letter to Vietnam. Each of the nine fragrances is a personal and contemporary interpretation of Hoang’s heritage, crafted by local perfumers to echo the natural melodies of Vietnam’s landscapes.
