Filippo Sorcinelli Lascia Ch'io Pianga Extrait 100ml
The good things are images that disappear from our minds. They are parts of ourselves, lost in the forest of habit. But pain remains, describing what cannot be chosen. Perhaps I do not want to forget; perhaps it will never happen. I want to feel different.
Simply free.
I remember the tears because they are stronger than forgetting. But moving on is sweeter than remaining where we are. I do not want to live in fear of what emerges from the darkness, or of what I have left behind. I am who I have chosen to be, even when it was not my own voice that spoke.
These were tears that rose towards the moon, always ascending like a prayer, carving my destiny. With pride, I take a single leap into the drama, refusing to let my emotions go. And so I follow my emerald-scented path, wherever it may lead me.
It is a promise to myself, to one another; an oath, a lament, a sincerity, a courageous hymn.
Strong. I believe. And I never forget.
The eleventh fragrance by Filippo Sorcinelli is an anthem to the pursuit of personal freedom.
The initial emotional spark behind this new project once again comes from the musical stave, as reflected in the decoration of the bottle. It is music that moves us, that falls like tears and awakens the desire for freedom: the aria Lascia ch'io pianga from Handel's opera Rinaldo.
Yet this is merely the beginning, as the concept develops into a much broader journey: the idea of attaining a precious gift that every human being possesses, and which today, more than ever, has become an essential value.
Once again, Filippo Sorcinelli seeks to tell the story of his personal and artistic journey through the difficult pursuit of this absolute: freedom from the many forms of enslavement that surround us — fashion, advertising and preconceived ideas.
We only truly realise the importance of freedom when it is taken away from us. Through our individual experiences, we overcome the limitations imposed by prejudice and set out along a straight path across a symbolically green landscape, guided by a moon that accompanies us and bathes our faces in a warm, enveloping light.
Freedom, though a hard-won and often painful voice, does not mean simply doing whatever we please, for it must always respect the rights and values of others.
It is a new song that also brings us to an awareness of our own limitations. It is a distant sigh, beyond the breath itself, that untangles the knots of our uncertainty and ultimately reveals our true calling.

Filippo Sorcinelli perfume is Italian artistic perfumery in extrait de parfum, created by the organist and artist known as the tailor of the Popes and inspired by sacred music, Gothic art and landscapes.
Filippo Sorcinelli connects perfumery with the arts that shape his life: sacred tailoring, photography and, above all, organ music. His fragrance line began in 2014 as a tribute to the LAVS atelier he had established in Mondolfo in 2001.The result is more than an incense collection. LAVS translates the scent of the atelier, Opus 1144 interprets Gothic architecture through smell, and Organ #1 turns a specific musical memory into a fragrance.
Filippo Sorcinelli is a lifestyle brand, the result of a collaboration between the arts. In 2014, as a tribute to the Atelier LAVS, the first fragrance of the UNUM collection was born, like a sort of olfactory tailoring, then followed by perfumes dedicated to the artistic passions of their creator: gothic art, music, photography ... the fog.
Filippo Sorcinelli is not only synonymous with niche fragrances; the company's projects range volcanically in every sector: art, events, fashion, design, in a concept of lifestyle that embraces different aspects of contemporary times through unusual shapes and materials. A journey through spirituality and harmony, in the constant and audacious search for beauty.
