This natural geisha from Jhonatan Gasca is very sweet and fruity. You can expect a silky mouthfeel with tasting notes of pomegranate, cherries and citrus. We have very small quantities of this one!

This beautiful Geisha from Zarza undergoes a few steps before being shipped to Europe. The first step is manual collection of mature cherries on Zarza’s farm. The cherries are then put into plastic bags in an anaerobic environment for 3 to 4 days for cherry oxidation. The cherries are fermented for another 100 hours. The cherries are washed with hot water to remove the mucilage. The cherries are then dried in the sun for 4 days (they remove the cherries 3 to 4 times per day when there is not a lot of sun) and then they are put in mechanical driers in silo to finish the drying.

Dak Coffee Roasters was founded by Louis-Philippe Boucher & Veronique Lagarde in 2019. Originally from Montreal, Canada, the duo roamed around Europe for more than 8 years before settling in Amsterdam where they founded the roastery. Dak means “roof” in Danish, and it was a moment in 2019 when Louis-Philippe was sitting on the roof of his home, drinking coffee when he decided to start his own roastery. Dak now consists of a small team of six

Coffee has always been part of our lives, although our love for specialty coffee has grown exponentially in the past few years. After working many years respectively in Finance & Marketing, we decided to pursue our dream, opening a coffee roastery. Dak was born from true passion for coffee and the desire to embark on a journey of endless discoveries.

We select our coffees based on their unique tasting profiles and of course that are 100% fully traceable. We partner with importers that share our values and we roast each one of our coffees carefully to bring the best flavours they have to offer.
