Fascent

Fascent was founded by Fanny Fortin Descamps, whose career in beauty and fragrance left her convinced that perfume could be more personal, flexible, and expressive. She saw that the traditional fragrance world often felt rigid – rooted in stereotypes about gender or style – and wanted to create a house that reflected the way people really live: shifting moods, layered identities, and evolving experiences. The brand name itself, a fusion of facettes (facets) and scent, reflects this philosophy: each perfume is designed to celebrate the many sides of a person.

At the heart of Fascent is the idea that fragrance is emotional. Perfume is an atmosphere you carry with you, something that can heighten a moment or change with your state of mind. Whether worn alone or layered together, Fascent fragrances are unisex, versatile, and deliberately crafted to move with you through your day. This mix-and-match approach encourages wearers to build a signature scent that evolves rather than staying fixed.

Clean, conscious formulation is also central to the brand. Fascent avoids controversial or unnecessary additives, like CMRs, endocrine disruptors, colourants, and UV filters, ensuring that safety and integrity are never compromised. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, from responsibly sourced raw materials to refillable packaging solutions. Even the bottle caps, produced with bioplastics and 3D printing, embody Fascent’s commitment to sustainability.

The brand works with experienced perfumers from leading fragrance houses to translate moods, textures, and life moments into scent. Each creation has its own personality: for instance, Milky No Way combines hazelnut milk, black pepper, and sandalwood for a soft yet surprising effect, while Radical Softness captures intimacy with ambrox and skin-like notes. Inspiration comes from memory, light, nature, and the small details of daily life, all distilled into modern olfactory stories.
