Like the rest of the Pilastro series, the design was inspired by the Art Déco style of the 1920s, and the conical shape and grooved design of the drinking glasses make them both streamlined and elegant. Stelton is an innovative Danish design house, founded in 1960 by two soldier comrades Niels Stellan Høm and Carton Madelaire. The name is a combination of their given names: Stella’s + Carton = Stelton. Today, the company designs timeless and functional objects, which makes everyday life more beautiful.
