After a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Wang, Tintin returns to Shanghai to have a bottle of Radjaïdjah juice, the famous “poison that drives you mad”, analysed. It is therefore with this dangerous cargo – which, in the meantime, has been wrapped in a package – that Tintin crosses the Japanese lines again. Despite several unforeseen events (a military inspection initiated at short notice, a bicycle chase and a quick visit to a local cinema), the little reporter manages to deliver it to his recipient: Professor Fan-Se-Yeng.

Tintin is created from Hergé’s subconscious desire to be perfect, to be a hero. The hero who everyone between 7 and 77 years old wants to be, or become while reading the Adventures of Tintin.

The Adventures of Tintin is a series of 24 bande dessinée albums created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé.

The series was one of the most popular European comics of the 20th century. By 2007, a century after Hergé’s birth in 1907, Tintin had been published in more than 70 languages with sales of more than 200 million copies, and had been adapted for radio, television, theatre and film.

The story of Boutique Tintin begins more than 20 years ago, in June 1989, when the shop was opened in the centre of Brussels, a stone’s throw from the Grand Place.

The shop was an instant success and continues today to be a popular destination for Tintin fans from all over the world, who come to admire the displays, ask all kinds of questions and purchase Tintin products.

The product ranges have developed over the years and despite all kinds of changes, we have always prided ourselves in the top quality presentation of our products in our window displays, and in our customer service.
