Demolished Studio is an independent perfumery from Buenos Aires founded by brothers Rudy and Maximiliano Rojas. Rooted in Argentina’s creative pulse, the studio treats fragrance as an artistic medium rather than a commercial product. Their work blends intuition, experimentation, and multidisciplinary inspiration, drawing from nature, architecture, music, and visual art to craft scents that feel both contemporary and deeply atmospheric.
At the heart of their philosophy is the belief that perfume is a sensory universe capable of evoking memory, emotion, and abstract imagery. Their approach is slow, intentional, and rooted in a desire to achieve complexity without losing a sense of rawness. High quality materials and botanical influences shape their formulas, but the emotional narrative of each scent remains the true anchor. They aim to produce fragrances that feel lived-in, resonant, and expressive.
Among their most celebrated creations is the Arabian Oils Collection, inspired by a journey through North Africa. These fragrances reinterpret the richness of Arab perfumery through a modern lens, featuring compositions that range from incense-driven and mysterious to deeply woody, resinous, or ethereal. Scents like Enigma, Mundano, Libertino, and Oud Sublime highlight their skill for blending tradition with experimentation, layering bold materials like oud, saffron, and vetiver into unexpectedly refined structures.
Demolished Studio has also engaged in limited edition artistic collaborations, further emphasising their identity as makers who sit at the intersection of fragrance and contemporary culture. Each project expands their sensory universe while maintaining the studio’s signature tension between minimalism and intensity.
Despite being firmly rooted in Buenos Aires, the studio has begun receiving international recognition. They became the first Argentinian niche perfume house to be featured at Dover Street Parfums Market in Paris October 2024 – a major milestone cementing their position among the global leaders of experimental perfumery.
