Grapefruit

Bright, crisp, and invigorating. The lively scent of citrus peel blends freshness with subtle bitterness. Grapefruit energises the senses and awakens clarity, like sunlight breaking through morning clouds.

Lavender

Calm, herbal, and soothing. The soft aroma of sun-dried flowers carries hints of wood and freshness. Lavender relaxes the mind and brings peaceful balance to body and spirit.

Citrus

Bright, fresh, and sparkling. A lively blend of sunlit fruits fills the air with energy and clarity. Citrus uplifts the spirit and refreshes the mind with pure, radiant vitality.

MEET THE MAKER

Hetkinen

Based in Turku, Finland, Hetkinen was founded in 2018 by designer and former sales manager, Mona Isotupa. Mona defines herself as “a mother of two children, feminist, vegetarian, animal and nature lover,” as well as being an activist against deforestation. The company drives inspiration from the Finnish forests and trees. The design approach is careful and minimalist. Everything is made in harmony with the nature.

Hetkinen’s mission is to bring people closer to nature in their busy everyday lives via high-quality product innovations. All of Hetkinen’s products are gender-neutral, vegan, and manufactured in Finland at the company’s own factory.

Hetkinen uses Finnish pine heartwood for their jars and containers. It takes a pine tree 40 years to begin to produce heartwood, so it is used sparingly & respectfully, and as such, knots or stains in the wood are not discarded. Pine heartwood is used for it’s superior resistance to rot, antibacterial properties, and because it doesn’t absorb moisture.
