A washed Typica Mejorado from Juan Peña in Ecuador, grown at 1900 masl and offering a clean, refined profile with notes of jasmine tea, mandarin and honey sweetness. A roastery favourite.
Situated in the southern highlands of Ecuador, Juan Peña has become known for producing precise, character-driven coffees with a strong focus on experimentation and varietal expression. Working across high-elevation sites with stable daytime temperatures and cool mountain nights, his approach combines meticulous cultivation with controlled processing methods designed to enhance clarity, texture and sweetness. From extended fermentations to carefully managed drying, each stage is handled with intention to highlight the distinct qualities of the coffee while maintaining balance and structure in the cup.
