This batch comes from the Potosí farm, one of the jewels of the renowned Granja La Esperanza. Under the leadership of Rigoberto Herrera, a pioneer of specialty coffee farming in Colombia, this farm is recognised worldwide for its quality.
Grown at altitudes ranging from 1,400 to 1,850 meters, this Red Bourbon coffee was processed using the Honey method. This method, which preserves the cherry’s mucilage during drying, results in intense sweetness and a syrupy texture.
In the cup, this profile reveals a dense, well-balanced body. The extraction highlights the roundness and acidity of red plums, complemented by the sweetness of smooth caramel. The tasting experience concludes with a lingering finish of dark chocolate, resulting in a rich, powerful, and fruity flavor profile from the first sip.
