The candle holder is made of a single piece of wood without adhesive seams, making it a very durable and ecological choice. Wood is the most environmentally friendly and fully renewable material compared to glass, plastic, and metal.

Ecological metsä scented candle made of soy wax and selected essential oils in a container made of recycled aluminium. The aromatic and luxurious vegetable wax candle burns cleanly and is emission-free, spreading a wonderful aromatherapeutic atmosphere around it.

Ingredients

non gmo olive wax, non-gmo coconut wax, non-gmo soy wax, pinus sylvestris essential oil, juniperus communis essential oil, sweet birch essential oil, parfum

Non-GMO Olive Wax

Olive stearin is a plant-based and completely vegan candle pulp. Its main raw material is olive oil. Olive stearin is a more ecological alternative to palm oil-based stearin.

Non-GMO Coconut Wax

Biodegradable and vegan. Coconut wax does not contain genetically modified ingredients.

Non-GMO Soy Wax

Soy wax burns cleanly and slowly. Soy wax is non-toxic and doesn’t contain allergens that could irritate breathing. Soy wax is responsibly produced from the soybeans and is a completely renewable natural resource.

Pine Essential Oil

The essential oil of pine brings the fresh scent of a forest into the product. It opens and strengthens your airways. Pine oil also enhances blood circulation and reduces muscle pain, as well as arthritic symptoms. Resin scented pine oil is known to increase positive traits such as durability, persistence and self-confidence.

Juniper Essential Oil

Juniper is one of the best known traditional medicinal plants of Finland. Essential oil is made from its ripe, black berries.

Sweet Birch Essential Oil

Sweet birch essential oil has a sweet, minty and fresh aroma that is instantly soothing and uplifting to the mind.

MEET THE MAKER

Hetkinen

Based in Turku, Finland, Hetkinen was founded in 2018 by designer and former sales manager, Mona Isotupa. Mona defines herself as “a mother of two children, feminist, vegetarian, animal and nature lover,” as well as being an activist against deforestation. The company drives inspiration from the Finnish forests and trees. The design approach is careful and minimalist. Everything is made in harmony with the nature.

Hetkinen’s mission is to bring people closer to nature in their busy everyday lives via high-quality product innovations. All of Hetkinen’s products are gender-neutral, vegan, and manufactured in Finland at the company’s own factory.

Hetkinen uses Finnish pine heartwood for their jars and containers. It takes a pine tree 40 years to begin to produce heartwood, so it is used sparingly & respectfully, and as such, knots or stains in the wood are not discarded. Pine heartwood is used for it’s superior resistance to rot, antibacterial properties, and because it doesn’t absorb moisture.
