This natural-processed community lot comes from the Aponte subregion in Colombia, where local producers are actively experimenting with fermentation techniques and different cultivars, with a strong focus on honey and natural processes. Absolutely delicious and one of our favourite Colombian naturals, this coffee really shines in its fruitiness, silkiness and balance. Expect vibrant notes of guava and purple fruits, rounded out by a smooth cacao finish.
This natural-processed collective lot comes from the subregion of Aponte, home to an indigenous settlement of the Inga community. The local producers experiment with fermentation and different cultivars, focusing on honey and natural processing.

Dak Coffee Roasters was founded by Louis-Philippe Boucher & Veronique Lagarde in 2019. Originally from Montreal, Canada, the duo roamed around Europe for more than 8 years before settling in Amsterdam where they founded the roastery. Dak means “roof” in Danish, and it was a moment in 2019 when Louis-Philippe was sitting on the roof of his home, drinking coffee when he decided to start his own roastery. Dak now consists of a small team of six.
“Coffee has always been part of our lives, although our love for specialty coffee has grown exponentially in the past few years. After working many years respectively in Finance & Marketing, we decided to pursue our dream, opening a coffee roastery. Dak was born from true passion for coffee and the desire to embark on a journey of endless discoveries.
“We select our coffees based on their unique tasting profiles and of course that are 100% fully traceable. We partner with importers that share our values and we roast each one of our coffees carefully to bring the best flavours they have to offer.”
