Founded by creative couple, Christine and Niclas Lydeen, CRA-YON is a fragrance company based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The Lydeens have developed award-winning fragrances in the premium category for many years, always with the same fascination and exploration of the transportive power of scent as a wellbeing enhancer. Finally, in 2020, together they set up CRA-YON to develop their own line of fragrances to inspire and elevate, without the creativity-stifling boundaries of mass market perfumery.

Ami Amie opens with a smooth yet sultry fruity tone. The plum and raspberry create a perfect balance, and the sweetness from the floral notes comes out to create more complexity before the spice and woody notes give a further layer. There is a fine balance in the composition that allows all of the notes to have their moment.
Art Life activates your senses, raises your energy and stimulates your creativity with a composition filled with citrus, neroli and tonka. Like stepping into an airy, bright atelier in Marrakech enveloped by warm breezes of bergamot and creamy fig. The fragrance settles down into a clean and earthy smell with a touch of fruitiness.
A grounding scent to leave you feeling empowered, Caramel Days opens with cosy notes of caramel, before blossoming into a softly citrus blend of Brazilian orange and mandarin. Subtle notes of tropical coconut, jasmine and cacao lend sensual sunshine warmth that rounds out this feel-good fragrance.
Continental was created during the global lockdown in 2020, where the longing for travel and exploring the world was at an all-time high. It’s a celebration of travel, exploring the world, and appreciating local beauty and culture. It’s a woody scent featuring a curation of ingredients selected in collaboration by master perfumer Christian Provenzano. Scent makes you travel without moving.

CRA-YON incense is a balanced composition with notes of Rosewood, Jasmin, Violet, and Orris blended with a grounding base of Sandalwood, Cedarwood and Musk. The scent evokes emotions, enhances relaxation, and promotes mindfulness, making it an ideal addition to meditation, yoga, or simply unwinding after a long day. The marble holder is available in three different colours.
Christine has a background in fashion and studied at Studio Bercot in Paris, where she moved to due to her French roots. She lived in Paris and worked for agencies such as Li Edelkoort and the fashion house Vivienne Westwood before fragrance became her main form of expression. Christine returned to Sweden where she met Niclas, an Art Director and visual artist. Niclas has an MFA in Design and has worked as a Creative Director for several brands and design agencies, and has also worked artistically with senses and scent as a starting point.
Together the couple realised their dream of working artistically with fragrance. After 13 years creating award winning scents, renowned exhibitions and with worldwide recognition, they now utilise CRA-YON to push the boundaries of their creativity with high quality and long lasting ingredients. They are creating fragrances at a lower price point than their other premium scent company, and have taken a clean and sophisticated approach to our packaging design in order to keep costs down and be more environmentally friendly.
