A floral, tea-forward Ethiopian from Danche Washing Station in Gedeb, and an unusual one for how it is made: anaerobic fermentation, then washed. The sealed ferment builds the complexity while the washing step keeps the cup clean and light. Wild florals lead, peach iced tea sits in the middle, and a black-tea note holds the finish.
Ripe cherries are selectively handpicked, hand-sorted, and floated. Cherries are then de-pulped and left in sealed tanks to ferment for 48 hours, without the presence of oxygen. After fermentation, the parchment is washed twice with clean water before being laid to dry on raised beds for 15 -20 days.

Dak Coffee Roasters was founded by Louis-Philippe Boucher & Veronique Lagarde in 2019. Originally from Montreal, Canada, the duo roamed around Europe for more than 8 years before settling in Amsterdam where they founded the roastery.
